As free as a bird--as a flock of birds, to be sure! I have a bird in my post, too, taking a different angle on the word.
Birds are indeed free, they can fly wherever they want to go. Good choice for the theme. Happy weekend! And oh, by the way my son loves your background so much, he got fascinated by the beauty of the beautiful rainbow.

You have to read Bernd Henrich's book The Geese of Beaver Bog (out of print): it is marvelous and now I appreciate my Canada geese more. I wish I had known you were on PH (I am too): this is quality here.
