Birds are indeed free, they can fly wherever they want to go. Good choice for the theme. Happy weekend! And oh, by the way my son loves your background so much, he got fascinated by the beauty of the beautiful rainbow. FREE RIDE
Lovely photo. I particularly like the one that looks like it's directing the others! Maybe they're only free as long as they do what the boss tells them! LOL!
Hi LB! Thanks for dropping by; I happened to be here when your comment came in. I love this photo. They were by the road! You have to read Bernd Henrich's book The Geese of Beaver Bog (out of print): it is marvelous and now I appreciate my Canada geese more. I wish I had known you were on PH (I am too): this is quality here.

Do you have your 'geese' in a row? It looks like he's about ready to throw down with the next goose in line!
Nice wildlife---free indeed. We humans are tied down in so many other ways!
Thanks for visiting!
I put up my other pictures of the Hike if you want to go look at them now.
As free as a bird--as a flock of birds, to be sure! I have a bird in my post, too, taking a different angle on the word.
